Victorian offices in Salford revitalised

Joint venture Urban Vision brings historic building back to life

Article posted: 23 Aug 2011

A Victorian building providing office space in Salford on the corner of Bexley Square, has been brought back to life thanks to work by Urban Vision, Capita Symonds’ joint venture partnership with Salford City Council.

The team was commissioned by Salford City Council to refurbish the exterior of this key building which had deteriorated following years of collecting dust, dirt and traffic fumes thank to its position on one of the main routes into Manchester city centre.

Following the completion of an external survey on the building, works carried out involved cleaning the stone facade, external painting, and installing new external feature lighting which also remains in keeping with the other recently renewed lighting in Bexley Square.

With more and more organisations signing up for office space at MediaCityUK in Salford Quays, Manchester is seeing much regeneration with new developments and refurbishment projects throughout the region.
