i2 Office to host Institute of Directors Hub in Leeds

IoD hub second to be hosted within i2 Office network

Technology focused serviced office operator i2 Office has announced that it has created a Directors Lounge and Hub for Institute of Directors (IoD) members at its serviced offices in Leeds, based in No 1 Leeds. The IoD Hub in Leeds will be the second to be hosted within the i2 Office network, following the announcement in January of the IoD Hub at i2 Office’s Glasgow centre, located at 2 West Regent Street in the heart of the city.

Philip Grace, i2 Office CEO, commented: "We are delighted to be working with the IoD on this second project and look forward to welcoming members from across the country, whether based in Yorkshire or visiting on business. Our business centre at No 1 Leeds is perfectly situated within walking distance of the train station and city centre to allow members easy access to the Directors Lounge and our meeting facilities.”

The new Hub will offer a Directors Room similar to those in place at other IoD Hubs, enabling members to hold ‘round table’ meetings for up to two guests in an informal lounge set up at no charge. The IOD lounge offers four workstations for use by members, with Wi-Fi access and telephones with free local and national dialling. 

Members benefit from free tea and Costa coffee from the Just Deli café located in the centre next to the lounge and may also use the waiter service to the lounge. i2 Office also provides access to showers and lockers for IoD members. In addition, members benefit from preferential rates on other services from i2 Office, including conference and meeting facilities and serviced office space.

Kenton Robbins, Regional Director of the IoD Yorkshire and Humber, said of the new facility: "It will offer our members improved services so that they can continue to do business. For those who have not yet taken advantage of the Hub they can start to tap into more benefits of membership to boost their opportunities aided by the IoD.”
